Big Sonic Ski II application: Smoothing of irregularities of the previous layer & indication of layer thickness at any time.
The Big Sonic Ski system uses three Sonic-Ski ultrasonic sensors.
The Sensors “read” a reference level and calculate the average per second. The result is that the smoothing of the subsoil irregularities over a long length (up to 13m) is achieved.
The Big-Sonic-Ski II (9m or 13m) is an upgrade of the MOBA-Matic II system. By adding 2 additional Sonic-Skis on each side of the machine, the System is upgraded.
The MOBA Big-Sonic-Ski II has the advantage that the same system can be installed on all makes and models of Finishers, as well as milling machines.
